용산 핫도그 맛집 홀리데이 프랭크 방문했습니다. ("I visited Holiday Frank, a hot dog restaurant in Yongsan.")

 

와이프와 나들이 겸 해서 용산을 방문했습니다.

용산 가족공원에 가고 싶어 하던 참이었는데, 당일예약은 되지 않는다고 하더군요.

그렇게 아쉬운 마음을 뒤로한 채, 밥을 먹으러 가기로 했습니다.

검색을 통해 홀리데이프랭크라는 집을 발견했습니다.

미국식 핫도그를 파는 곳인데요,

찾아가기가 여간힘 든 게 아닙니다.

 

신용산역 2번 출구로 나와서 센트럴파크타워와 용산센트럴파크아파트 사이의 상가에 위치해 있습니다.

 

Through my search, I discovered a place called "Holiday Frank." It's a spot that serves American-style hot dogs, and let me tell you, finding it wasn't easy. You have to come out of Exit 2 of Sinyongsan Station, and it's located in the shopping area between Central Park Tower and Yongsan Central Park Apartments.

아메리칸핫도그가 메인입니다.

핫이 빠진 거 보니 별로 따뜻하진 않나 보네요.

시그니처는 아메리칸 오리지널과 스파이시 하와이안인가 봅니다.

가격은 8천 원~1만 원 수준입니다.

The main dish here is the American hot dog. Seeing that the "hot" part is missing, it doesn't seem particularly warm. The signature options include the American Original and the Spicy Hawaiian. Prices range from 8,000 to 10,000 won.

내부 인테리어는 뭔가 잭슨피자 느낌이 나는 간판으로 메뉴판을 꾸며놨습니다.

테이블에는 귀여운 블록 장난감을 놓아놨네요.

오픈형 주방에서 사장님 혼자 메뉴를 준비합니다.

The interior design gives off a Jackson Pizza vibe, with a signboard decorated like a menu. Cute block toys are placed on the tables. The open kitchen allows the owner to prepare the menu alone.

 

우리가 먹은 것들

아메리칸 / 하와이안

 

시그니처메뉴 하나씩 시켜봅니다.

처음 오는 집은 가장 위에 있는 메뉴를 시키면 실패할 확률이 낮다는 친구의 말이 떠오르네요.

가장 위에 것을 시켜봅니다.

겉보기에는 하와이안과 아메리칸 두 개는 차이가 없습니다.

왜냐면 하와이사람도 미국사람이기 때문이죠 하하하!

하와이안은 안쪽에 구운 파인애플이 들어가 있습니다.

콜라는 제로콜라로 주문했습니다.

당은 몸에 안 좋으니깐요!

Let's order one signature menu each. It's said that if you order the menu at the top in a new place, the chances of failure are low, according to my friend's advice. We'll order the one at the top. At first glance, there doesn't seem to be much difference between the Hawaiian and American ones. Because, after all, Hawaiians are also Americans, right? Haha! The Hawaiian one has grilled pineapple inside. I ordered a Coke Zero. Because sugar isn't good for the body, you know!

먹었을 때 저는 맛있었는데,

와이프는 그냥 그렇다고 하네요.

사장님도 뭔가 퉁명스럽다고 하면서 

그래서 저도 괜스레 악의적인 마음이 생겼습니다.

 

하지만 제 입맛에는 맛있었습니다.!

When I ate it, I found it delicious, But my wife just said it was okay. The owner also seemed a bit brusque, So I started feeling a bit malicious too. However, it tasted good to me!

사장님 영어 잘하시더라고요. 외국인 손님 대하는 게 멋졌습니다.

멀리서 찾아갈 정도의 맛집은 아닌데, 

동네 주민이라면 자주 찾을 것 같은 집입니다!

The owner spoke English well. It was impressive how they dealt with foreign customers. It's not a restaurant you'd go out of your way to visit, But if you live in the neighborhood, it seems like the kind of place you'd frequent! If you live in Yongsan, give it a try!
