을지깐깐 위치

 

베트남 여행 온 듯한 분위기 느낄 수 있는 을지깐깐 다녀왔어요.
지하철 타고 갔는데 을지로3가역 11번 출구에서 걸어서 2분 정도 걸리는 곳에 위치해있어서 찾기 쉽더라고요.
2층 건물이고 1층에는 장만옥이라는 중국 술집이 있는데 이 가게 바로 위층이에요.
간판이 없으니 처음 가시는 분들은 헷갈릴 수 있다는 점 유의하세요!

I visited 'Eulji Kkan Kkan,' where you can feel the atmosphere as if you've traveled to Vietnam. I took the subway to get there, and it's conveniently located about a 2-minute walk from Exit 11 of Euljiro 3-ga Station. The restaurant is on the second floor of a building, and on the first floor, there's a Chinese bar called 'Jangmanok.' Please note that there is no sign, so first-time visitors may find it confusing!

내부 들어가자마자 감탄사 연발했는데요.
가게 곳곳에 놓인 아기자기한 소품들이며 벽에 걸린 액자 속 사진들까지 모두 베트남 현지 스타일 그대로 재현했더라고요.
레트로풍이라고 해야 할까요 마치 시간여행 떠나온듯한 착각마저 들 정도였답니다.
화려한 샹들리에 아래 붉은 벽지와 골드빛 테이블 의자까지 전체적으로 고급스러운 분위기여서 연인끼리 데이트하러 오기에도 좋을 것 같아요.

As soon as I entered, I was overwhelmed with admiration. The various charming decorations placed throughout the store and the pictures framed on the walls were all faithfully recreated in the style of Vietnam. It could be described as a retro atmosphere, almost like stepping into a time travel illusion. From the splendid chandelier to the red wallpaper and the golden tables and chairs, the overall ambiance exudes luxury, making it a perfect place for couples to come for a romantic date.

메뉴판 살펴보니 각종 메인 요리와 사이드 디쉬 종류별로 준비되어 있었는데요.
뭘 먹을까 고민하다가 가장 인기 많다는 게살국수랑 분짜 그리고 반쎄오 주문했어요.
참고로 여기는 평일 오전 11시 30분부터 오후 10시까지 운영하는데 중간에 브레이크 타임이 있다고 하더라고요.
오후 3시부터 5시 30분까지는 피해서 가시길 바라요.

As I perused the menu, I found various main dishes and side dishes categorized. After contemplating what to order, I decided to go with the most popular items, which were the Crab Noodles, Pho Chua (Sour Pho), and Ban Xeo. Just a heads up, the restaurant operates from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays, but there's a break time in the middle. Avoid visiting between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM.

현지 느낌 물씬 나는 이색적인 맛을 즐길 수 있는 을지로 맛집

게살국수 제일 먼저 나왔는데 커다란 대접에 가득 담겨 나와 보기만 해도 푸짐하다는 생각이 들었어요.
빨간 국물 색깔부터가 범상치 않았는데 한입 떠먹어보니 칼칼하면서도 시원한 맛이 일품이더라고요.
국물 깊숙이 푹 적셔진 면발 돌돌 말아 호로록 흡입하니 탱글탱글한 식감 대박이었어요.
면발 자체가 탄력감 넘치는데다 얼큰한 육수와의 조화로움이 기가 막혔어요.
뿐만 아니라 꽃게살이 듬뿍 들어가 있어서 게 특유의 달큰함 또한 느껴볼 수 있었답니다.
면도 그렇고 건더기 양도 많아서 혼자서 다 먹기 힘들 정도예요.
진한 풍미 느껴지는 매콤한 쌀국수 드시고 싶으신 분들께 강추합니다.
마지막으로 등장한 요리는 반달 모양의 반쎄오였는데요.
바삭하게 부쳐낸 반죽 안에 숙주나물과 새우 소고기 등 여러고기를 요리한 요리입니다.

베트남이 생각나는 맛이었어요.

The Crab Noodles arrived first, served in a large bowl, and just looking at it made me feel satisfied. The unique red color of the broth caught my attention, and after taking a bite, I was impressed by its spicy yet refreshing taste. The noodles, tightly rolled and soaked in the deep broth, provided a delightful chewy texture. The noodles were not only springy but also perfectly harmonized with the spicy broth, creating an amazing combination. Additionally, the generous amount of crab meat added a sweet and savory touch, enhancing the overall experience. Moreover, the dish was packed with crab, giving it the distinct sweetness of crab meat. The abundance of noodles and toppings made it challenging to finish alone. I highly recommend it to those who crave spicy rice noodles with a rich flavor. The final dish that appeared was Ban Xeo, a crescent-shaped delicacy. It featured a crispy batter filled with various ingredients such as mung bean sprouts, shrimp, and beef. The taste reminded me of the flavors of Vietnam.

친절한 서비스와 위생 관리 철저한 을지로 맛집

사실 이런 유명한 식당 가면 불친절하거나 위생적이지 못한 경우 종종 있잖아요.
근데 여긴 사장님께서 엄청 친절하시고 매장 내부도 항상 쾌적하게 관리되고 있었어요.
맛이면 맛 서비스면 서비스 뭐 하나 빠지는 게 없으니 앞으로 자주 찾게 될 것 같아요. :)

Honestly, when you visit famous restaurants, there are occasions where the service is unfriendly or the hygiene standards are not up to par. However, here, the owner is incredibly kind, and the interior of the establishment is always well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Whether it's the taste or the service, there's nothing lacking, so I feel like I'll be coming here frequently in the future. :)
