안녕하세요. 맛집을 찾아다니는 남자입니다. 요즘 날씨가 너무 더워서 입맛도 없고 시원한 음식만 찾게 되는데요. 그래서 오늘은 제가 자주 가는 단골집 한 곳을 소개해드리려고 합니다. 바로 공덕시장에 위치한 봉평옹심이메밀칼국수인데요. 쫄깃한 면발과 진한 육수가 일품인 막국수맛집이랍니다.

Hello. I'm a guy who loves exploring restaurants. With the weather getting too hot these days, I find myself craving for refreshing dishes only. So today, I want to introduce you to one of my favorite places, Bongpyeong Ongsim Memil Kalguksu, located in Gongdeok Market. It's a renowned spot for its chewy noodles and flavorful broth, especially famous for its buckwheat noodles.

저희 부모님께서 얼마 전 친구분들과 모임 갖고 왔는데 가성비 뛰어난 데다가 맛도 훌륭한 편이라며 극찬하시더라고요.
주말에 가족 외식하러 갔는데 역시나 기대 이상으로 맛있었어요.

My parents recently attended a gathering with their friends, and they couldn't stop praising the restaurant for its excellent value and delicious food. 저렴한 가격에 푸짐하게 즐길 수 있는 곳

매장내부

이곳은 매장 규모가 꽤 넓은 편이에요.
테이블마다 칸막이 설치되어 있는 데다가 간격도 널찍해서 식사하는데 불편함 없었어요.
그리고 이곳은 포장 및 배달 서비스도 진행하고 있다고 하니 이용하실 분들은 참고하시길 바라요.

The restaurant has quite a spacious interior, with partitions installed between tables and ample space, making it comfortable to dine in. Moreover, they offer takeout and delivery services, so for those interested, it's worth considering.

식전 보리밥 제공되는 인심 좋은 식당

식전 보리밥

메뉴 주문하면 기본 밑반찬 세 가지랑 열무김치 그리고 고추장이랑 참기름 들어있는 그릇 하나 나오는데요.
보리밥에 넣고 슥슥 비벼 먹으면 입맛 돋워주는데 최고예요.
인당 1그릇씩 나오는 거라 양도 부족하지 않았고 사장님 넉넉한 인심 느낄 수 있었어요.

When you order a menu, they provide three basic side dishes, along with seasoned radish kimchi, and a bowl containing red pepper paste and sesame oil. Mixing it with barley rice and eating it is incredibly appetizing, truly the best. Since they serve one bowl per person, the portion was plentiful, and you could feel the generous hospitality of the owner.

메밀전병

메밀전병은 겉은 바삭 속은 촉촉한 게 매력적이었어요.
식감 자체가 쫀득하니 좋았고 매콤한 김치소 듬뿍 들어가 감칠맛 장난 아니었답니다.
아이들 간식거리로도 괜찮을 것 같고 술안주로도 손색없어 보였어요.

The buckwheat pancake was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, which was very appealing. Its chewy texture was delightful, and it was packed with spicy kimchi flavor, making it incredibly savory. It seemed like it would be a great snack for kids and a perfect accompaniment for drinks as well.

깔끔한 실내 분위기의 가족 외식 장소로도 적합

웨이팅

공휴일 점심시간대 방문했더니 손님으로 꽉 차있더라고요.
다행히 웨이팅 시간 길지 않아서 금방 들어갈 수 있었어요.
실내 규모 넓은 편이고 쾌적해서 좋았어요.
단체석 완비되어 있어 모임장소나 회식장소로도 괜찮을 듯싶네요.

I visited during lunchtime on a holiday, and the restaurant was packed with customers. Fortunately, the waiting time wasn't long, so we were able to get in quickly. The indoor space is quite spacious and comfortable, which was nice. They have group seating available, making it suitable for gatherings or company dinners.

100% 순 메밀로 만든 막국수는 아님

메밀 함량이 느낌상 60% 정도인 것 같더라고요. 100% 메밀은 식감 때문에 반죽 시 소량의 밀가루 첨가한다고 하더라고요.
그래서 다른 식당보다 면 색깔이 좀 더 진하답니다.
밀가루 포함돼 있다고 해도 식감 쫄깃하니 괜찮았어요.

It felt like the buckwheat content was around 60%. I heard that even with 100% buckwheat, a small amount of flour is added to the dough for texture. That's why the noodles here have a darker color compared to others. Despite the inclusion of flour, the texture was still chewy, which was fine.

밀가루 비율이 높은 편이지만 맛은 좋음

 

물막국수

양 푸짐하게 나와서 배 든든하게 채우기 좋았고 육수 감칠맛 가득 느껴지는 게 일품이었어요.
면발 탱글탱글 탄력적이었고 양념장 매콤 새콤달콤하니 제 입맛에 딱 맞았답니다.

The portion was generous, filling up the stomach nicely, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The noodles were chewy and elastic, and the seasoning sauce was just right with its spicy, tangy, and sweet flavors, suiting my taste perfectly.

여름철 별미인 시원한 물막국수와 매콤한 비빔막국수 둘 다 맛있음

비빔막국수

열무김치 곁들여 먹으니 아삭아삭 씹는 재미 쏠쏠했고 살짝 부족했던 간 채워주는 느낌이었어요.
옹심이칼국수 역시 진한 국물 맛 최고였고 쫀득쫀득한 옹심이 건져먹는 재미있었답니다.
다음에는 감자전이랑 수육 먹어보고 싶네요.

막국수에는 메밀꽃으로 보이는 것도 얹어주니 독특했습니다.

Adding the pickled radish kimchi provided a crunchy texture and helped balance out the flavors that were slightly lacking in seasoning. The broth of the buckwheat noodles was indeed superb, and the chewy texture of the noodles added to the enjoyment of the meal. Next time, I'd like to try the potato pancakes and boiled pork. It was unique to see what looked like buckwheat flowers sprinkled on top of the buckwheat noodles.
